Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Lead to join our Technology Consulting team. In this role, you will work on various Guidewire implementation projects for our customers, driving technical strategy, guiding teams, and liaising directly with clients and onsite coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Delivery Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical team leader contributing across various technical streams of Guidewire implementation.

• Interface and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators.

• Plan and monitor project deliverables to ensure timely delivery.

• Mentor and support the project team in executing identified projects.

• Provide regular status reporting to project managers and onsite coordinators.

• Interface with customer representatives as needed.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations on a need basis.

• Manage performance management for direct reports in alignment with organizational policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA

• Experience: 5 to 11 years of sound industry experience

Technical Skills & Core Competencies

Mandatory Skills

• Guidewire Expertise:

o Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Guidewire On-Premise Integration Patterns, including:

 Messaging

 SOAP / REST Web Services

 File Imports / Exports

 Batch Processing

o Highly experienced in Guidewire Integration, batches, messaging, and cloud integration concepts (e.g., Integration API Gateway).

o Experience with the Guidewire Cloud environment configuration (Console, S3 Bucket, Secrets, Helios, etc.).

• Java & Middleware Development:

o Proficient in Core and Advanced Java, along with experience in the Apache Camel open-source integration framework.

o Strong hands-on experience with Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT.

o Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and Enterprise Messaging Systems.

o Strong knowledge and experience with Application Servers: Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.

• Domain & Architecture:

o Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.

o Solid understanding of business functional flows along with software design patterns.

o Real-time knowledge and experience in enterprise system integration (preferably within the Insurance domain).

o Deep understanding and experience with software development best practices.

• Soft Skills & Leadership:

o Strong business communication skills (written and verbal).

o Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

o Prior client-facing experience and ability to adhere to/support project timelines.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Guidewire implementations and upgrades in the Insurance sector.

• Hands-on experience in Guidewire Integration.

• Insurance domain experience, preferably in Property & Casualty (P&C).

• Prior client-facing experience.
