Technical Lead Interior Architecture

A growing architecture and interior design studio in Dubai is looking to appoint a Technical Manager who wants to take on a leadership role and become part of the management team as the business continues to expand.

Around 75% of the studio's work is focused on high end residential projects, including large private villas and bespoke residences across Dubai's prime locations.

Alongside this, the team also delivers hospitality and mixed use developments, creating a varied portfolio while maintaining a strong focus on quality driven projects.

This role will sit alongside the Creative Design Manager, creating a strong balance between design leadership and technical delivery. The person coming into this position will play a key role in shaping how projects are delivered while becoming an important part of the studio's future as it grows.

The studio is looking for someone who sees themselves as more than just a technical reviewer.

They want somebody who can influence standards, support the wider team and help build a strong, well structured design practice.

The role

• Lead the technical development of projects from design development through to construction
• Oversee the production and review of detailed drawing packages and specifications
• Work closely with the Creative Design Manager to ensure design intent is maintained through the technical stages
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers
• Provide technical leadership across the studio and guide junior team members
• Support the development of internal delivery standards and project processes
• Contribute to key project decisions and the overall direction of the studio
