Role Overview
Latinum HR is hiring an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical division for high-rise construction and real estate development projects across the UAE. This role requires strong engineering expertise, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proven track record managing complex, large-scale building projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination across design, engineering, and construction functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the technical department, ensuring accuracy and quality across all engineering design and documentation.
- Review, verify, and approve technical drawings, construction methodologies, material submittals, and shop drawings.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and international engineering standards.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal project teams to drive project alignment.
- Provide strategic technical guidance during planning, design development, procurement, and construction stages.
- Identify design conflicts, propose engineering solutions, and mitigate technical risks proactively.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to design intent, quality benchmarks, and project timelines.
- Support value engineering initiatives to enhance project cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering assessments, and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Technical Manager or senior engineering role within the UAE.
- Proven experience in managing high-rise building projects (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, permitting processes, authority approvals, and construction codes.
- Proficiency in engineering design and coordination software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, etc.).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
