Perform comprehensive audits of structural calculation reports and 3D analytical models (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE).
Verify that all structural designs comply with international building codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE) and local regulations.
Review and approve structural drawings, specifications, and Shop Drawings to ensure they are Ready for Construction.
Manage the design delivery schedule for multiple projects, ensuring all engineering submittals are delivered on time.
Coordinate between the structural team and other disciplines (Architectural, MEP, and Landscape) to resolve design conflicts and perform clash detection.
Act as the technical point of contact between the client, external consultants, and the site execution team.
Provide technical solutions and formal responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) arising from the site.
Review and approve structural Method Statements and material submittals related to the skeleton and foundation.
Expert-level proficiency in structural analysis software (CSI Suite, Robot, or similar).
Strong command of AutoCAD and BIM (Revit Structure) for design coordination and review.
Deep knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and lateral load analysis (Wind and Seismic).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Post-graduate studies in Structural Engineering are a plus).
+10 years of experience in structural design and design management, with a proven track record in reviewing large-scale projects.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of design processes and coordination.
