Technical Manager Villa Projects

A well regarded luxury residential architecture and interior design studio in Dubai is now looking for a Technical Manager to take ownership of their technical output as the team grows.

This is a key role within the business. You will lead a small technical and CAD team, set clear drawing standards, and make sure the level of technical detailing matches the quality of design work the studio is known for.

Revit experience would be highly useful, as you will manage the implementation of revit with the leadsership team.

The studio delivers complex private residences, so coordination and accuracy are everything. This role suits someone who enjoys solving problems early, tightening processes, and ensuring all information going to site is clean, organised, and buildable.

You will work closely with the design team to translate concepts into well resolved technical packages, while also supporting and guiding the wider team to raise standards and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a small technical and CAD team, ensuring strong output and day to day coordination
• Set and maintain drawing standards, templates, QA processes, and technical workflows
• Review all technical deliverables before issue, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and buildability
• Manage detailed coordination across joinery, finishes, MEP interfaces, lighting, and specialist packages
• Identify issues early and resolve technical challenges before they reach site
• Support construction stage queries including RFIs, technical clarifications, and shop drawing reviews
• Work closely with designers and project leads to ensure design intent is carried through properly

• Strong experience as a Technical Manager / Technical Lead within luxury residential interiors
• Proven track record managing teams and raising technical standards in a studio environment
• Confident producing and reviewing high quality technical documentation for complex private homes
• Strong coordination skills across consultants and specialist suppliers
• Someone organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable owning technical responsibility

Salary up to 35,000 AED
