Technical Office Engineer (Civil)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Office Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and technical execution of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical documentation, quantity surveying, reviewing drawings, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring that all project activities comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contract documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Prepare shop drawings, technical submittals, and material submittals.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical correspondences.
- Review and monitor project progress against the approved schedule.
- Prepare subcontractor and client payment certificates.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, engineering standards, and quality regulations.
- Maintain and organize all technical documentation and project records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in a Technical Office role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical documentation, and quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and engineering standards.
- Good command of English.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
