Role Description The Technical Office Engineer / Electrical is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This role is responsible for designing , preparing, and reviewing electrical shop drawings, coordinating with design and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes. The Technical Office Engineer / Electrical will prepare and review electrical quantities, assist in BOQ preparation and verification, and support cost control and variation analysis. The role includes coordinating with other disciplines to resolve technical issues, responding to RFIs, and maintaining updated technical documentation. The engineer will also support project planning, provide technical input during procurement, and assist in ensuring that work progress aligns with approved drawings and project schedules.

Qualifications

  • Strong Electrical Engineering background with the ability to interpret and develop detailed electrical designs and specifications.
  • Proficiency in designing, reviewing, and coordinating electrical shop drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and applicable codes.
  • Experience with BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and Quantity Surveying activities related to electrical works.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering .
  • Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors, and to work under time constraints.
  • Previous experience in construction, fit-out, or MEP contracting environments is amust.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills.
