Technical Office Engineer (Furniture)

Job Responsibilities:

-Prepare and review shop drawings and production drawings for joinery, woodworks, wooden doors, and custom furniture.

-Review IFC drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documents to ensure technical accuracy.

-Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), quantity take-offs, cutting lists, and material requests.

-Coordinate with Production, Design, Procurement, QA/QC, Planning, and Project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

-Support factory operations by providing technical solutions and resolving production issues.

-Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and document control procedures.

-Optimize material utilization and propose value engineering solutions to improve efficiency and reduce cost.

-Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation phases.

• Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Applied Arts, Wood Technology, or a related field

-5+ years of experience in Technical Office within Joinery, Woodworks, Furniture Manufacturing, or Fit-Out

-Strong experience in shop drawings, production drawings, quantity take-off, BOM preparation, and technical coordination

-Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)

-Strong knowledge of joinery systems, furniture detailing, wood manufacturing processes, and materials

-Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

-Experience with ERP systems (Odoo or similar) is preferred
