Position Summary
Responsible for preparation, review, and submission of mechanical MEP technical documents (HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting), shop drawings & BIM models, material submittals, and coordination tasks to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Responsibilities
Design & Technical
- Review mechanical design drawings, tender documents, IFC drawings.
- Prepare mechanical shop drawings and technical packages.
- Prepare and update MEP BIM models (Revit).
- Assist in clash detection using Navisworks.
- Issue RFIs related to design conflicts or missing information.
- Prepare builder's work drawings & penetration drawings.
- Review consultant comments & apply corrective actions.
Procurement & Materials
- Prepare mechanical material submittals.
- Review supplier quotations and perform technical comparison.
- Follow-up approvals from consultant/client.
- Ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Coordination
- Coordinates with:
- Electrical
- Civil
- Architectural
- BIM and drafting team
- Site execution team
- Participate in MEP coordination meetings.
Documentation
- Support in project logs:
- RFIs
- Submittals
- Drawing logs
- Transmittals
- Prepare installation method statements.
