Technical Office Engineer (Technical Designer)

Connectalents is a recruitment and HRO solutions company that provides recruitment executive search, RPO across Egypt and the MENA region. is hiring a Technical Designer for an interior design studio that provides full design consultation, coordination, & supervision service for turn-key design & space solutions.

About the Role:

The role is responsible for transforming approved 3D designs into accurate technical sheets and working drawings, ensuring they meet project requirements, standards, materials specifications, and site conditions.

Job Scope:

• Prepare detailed technical sheets and working drawings based on approved 3D drawings.
• Review project requirements, building codes, life safety requirements, MEP permits, and material specifications.
• Review As-Built drawings and coordinate with the site supervision team to reflect site changes.
• Prepare drawings with accurate calculated dimensions.
• Coordinate with the Design Team, Project Managers, clients, and contractors.
• Review lighting designs from an application and MEP coordination perspective.
• Identify technical issues and suggest alternative material solutions when needed.
• Present design progress, receive feedback, and refine technical drawings accordingly.

What Are We Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or a relevant major.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Very good command of AutoCAD and other design programs.
• Very good knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate drawings on time.
