One of our key customers, a leading oilfield services organization with operations across the Middle East is looking to add an Operations & Technical Engineer to their UAE-based team.
This is a hands-on role with full ownership of a specific client's operation — designing, executing, and evaluating well testing jobs to a high standard, while building strong day-to-day client relationships and stepping into a supervisory capacity when required.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining operational and technical proficiency in well testing services to meet client requirements
- Working with the Section Manager to develop and implement location strategy and targeted sales plans for assigned clients
- Analyzing revenue, equipment, personnel, and HSE objectives on a continuous basis, taking corrective action where needed
- Maintaining strong client relationships and regular contact with assigned accounts
- Travelling to job sites regularly to audit processes and identify areas for improvement
- Designing, executing, and evaluating jobs personally, delivering best-in-class service
- Stepping into a supervisory or management capacity as needed, including people, equipment, and inventory management
- Dealing directly with clients in a combined sales and technical capacity, presenting solutions to their challenges
- Participating in proposals and tender preparation, and contributing to competitor intelligence gathering
- Taking ownership of assigned clients receivables and DSO, from FST preparation through to collection
- Covering the duties of the Service Leader during leave or rotation
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related science
- 2 years prior experience as a Field Engineer III
- Completion of QHSE training requirements
- Fluent English, with strong communication and presentation skills
- A self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical ability, and a genuine customer-centric mindset
Location: UAE (onshore and offshore operations, rotational role)
