We are seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer with strong experience in the real estate and construction sector to manage and execute procurement activities for development projects. The role requires solid expertise in sourcing, tendering, contracting, and supplier coordination across residential, commercial, retail, and infrastructure projects, ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement process for construction projects.
- Handle procurement of major packages including civil works, MEP, finishes, FF&E
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids technically and commercially, and support contract awards.
- Conduct supplier and subcontractor negotiations to achieve best value.
- Coordinate with engineering, technical office, finance, and site teams to ensure smooth procurement flow.
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure compliance with project timelines.
- Support cost control, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives.
- Maintain and update approved vendor lists.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
- Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil
- 58 years of experience in procurement within construction or real estate development.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP systems, and contracting processes.
- Experience in tendering, bid analysis, and supplier evaluation.
- Good understanding of commercial terms and contract conditions.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
