Technical Procurement & Engineering Lead

The Technical Procurement & Engineering Lead is responsible for managing and leading technical procurement activities while serving as the key technical interface between plant operations, engineering teams, procurement, and international suppliers.

This role requires a balanced combination of:

• Advanced engineering and technical analysis capabilities
• Deep understanding of industrial processes and equipment
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Leadership in procurement coordination and supplier management

The successful candidate will independently evaluate technical documentation, lead supplier interactions, support CAPEX decisions, and drive procurement strategies aligned with operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Chemical or Process Engineering
• Industrial Engineering (with strong technical background)

A Master's degree is an advantage.

Professional Experience

• 10-15 years of relevant agricultural industrial experience
• Proven experience in technical procurement and industrial plant engineering
• Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
• Vegetable oil extraction and refining
• Feed production
• Sugar and beet processing
• Grain handling and storage
• Food or industrial manufacturing
