Technical Program Manager (TPM) - AI & Data

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly technical and execution-oriented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the intelligence layer of our next-generation urban analytics platform. In this role, you will orchestrate the delivery of complex AI programs, defining how Generative AI, Knowledge Graphs, and spatial data can solve high-impact enterprise challenges.

Collaborating closely with our core platform product team, you will complement their focus on user experience by managing the underlying technical execution. You will act as the operational bridge between business goals and our Data/AI engineering efforts, managing dependencies, risks, and timelines to ensure our LLMs, RAG systems, and predictive models are successfully deployed to production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Strategy & Technical Scoping

Partner with product leadership to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical scopes, architecture requirements, and execution roadmaps for the AI team.

Define technical acceptance criteria for AI features, translating business needs into specific system requirements for search, generation, classification, and prediction.

Collaborate daily with the platform product team to ensure AI engineering milestones align with the broader software release schedule.

AI Program Execution & Delivery

Drive the end-to-end execution of AI programsfrom data acquisition and proof-of-concept to model tuning, infrastructure setup, and final deployment.

Manage cross-functional dependencies, bottlenecks, and project risks between Data Engineering, AI Engineering, and Platform Software teams.

Establish and track program health metrics, balancing system performance (e.g., model accuracy, RAG relevance, API latency) with project milestones and compute costs.

Technical Validation & Release Readiness

Lead the technical evaluation and validation process for AI outputs. Ensure models meet rigorous performance baselines for accuracy, guardrails, and hallucination mitigation before production release.

Champion a data-centric culture, ensuring the team has the right data pipelines and ontologies to support advanced capabilities like GraphRAG.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure AI programs are developed responsibly, embedding data privacy regulations (such as the Saudi PDPL), enterprise security standards, and ethical AI principles into the development lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Management, or complex Data/AI Delivery.

Deep understanding of the AI/ML development lifecycle, including data pipelines, model evaluation, and deployment.

Strong technical fluency with LLMs, RAG architectures, and Knowledge Graphs; ability to lead detailed architectural and scoping discussions with engineers.

Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment and managing complex technical dependencies.

Nice-to-Haves:

Background in Urban Planning, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), or Location Intelligence.

Familiarity with modern cloud data stacks (e.g., GCP, Lang Graph) and DataOps practices.

Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
