Job Posting Location will be Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Position Objective:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end projects in the domain of IP/MPLS and advanced telecom network technologies.
  • Serve as a technical consultant and project leader, overseeing planning, design, implementation, and delivery.
  • Drive project execution by ensuring alignment with approved scope, budget, KPIs, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project rollout.
  • Provide technical leadership in areas of IP, MPLS, QoS, and broadband architecture.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, documentation, and reporting frameworks.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies; implement mitigation and improvement actions.
  • Ensure adherence to technical standards, quality benchmarks, and operational excellence.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, and execute complex IP/MPLS network deployment projects, ensuring full alignment with technical and business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project charters, schedules, KPIs, SLAs, and communication plans to manage deliverables and milestones.
  • Oversee the design, configuration, and integration of large-scale, multi-vendor IP/MPLS networks supporting L2/L3 VPNs and QoS implementations.
  • Manage the rollout and migration of core, aggregation, and access network elements, including routers, switches, and transport equipment.
  • Conduct detailed network design validation, interoperability testing, and acceptance of MPLS VPNs, TE tunnels, and QoS configurations.
  • Review and approve HLDs (High-Level Designs) and LLDs (Low-Level Designs), ensuring compliance with architectural standards and performance benchmarks.
  • Prepare and evaluate technical documentation, RFPs, RFIs, and vendor proposals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project scope.
  • Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for network-related issues, escalating and resolving performance bottlenecks during rollout.
  • Validate test cases, oversee lab and field trials, and prepare final evaluation reports with recommendations and performance insights.
  • Ensure seamless integration of MPLS TE, FRR, LDP, RSVP-TE, MP-BGP, and OSPF-TE protocols within the network.
  • Support the deployment of Ethernet, IP/MPLS, VPLS, and broadband DSL architectures for large service provider networks.
  • Coordinate with NOC and operations teams to define acceptance criteria, testing procedures, and handover documentation.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and variances to management with mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for network optimization, QoS enhancement, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
  • Certification: PMP or PgMP (mandatory) | CCNP/CCIE/JNCIP/JNCIE preferred.
  • 10+ years in IP/MPLS network projects, including 5 years in project management with large telecom operators or integrators.
  • Strong expertise in MPLS VPN (RFC 2547bis), QoS design, and broadband network architectures.
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and Ethernet technologies (VPLS, QinQ, STP, MSTP, LAG, Multicast).
  • Skilled in MPLS TE, FRR, LDP, RSVP-TE, MP-BGP, and OSPF-TE configuration and deployment.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS and other multi-vendor routing/switching platforms.
  • Familiar with transport and access technologies DWDM, EoSDH, POS, GigE, BRAS, and MSAN.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale IP/MPLS rollouts, manage vendors, and ensure KPI-driven delivery.
