MISSION

As a Technical Project Manager, Payments your mission is to successfully plan, execute, and deliver projects while ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. You will lead project teams, manage resources and risks, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders (after identifying internal & external stakeholders). By applying Fime – Consult Hyperion project management framework (PM@CHyp) principles, you will oversee project execution, monitor progress, and address deviations promptly. Your goal is to achieve the project objectives, optimize resource utilization, and foster a positive team dynamic. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will proactively manage risks, ensure stakeholder engagement, and implement quality control measures. Ultimately, your mission is to drive the project successfully, promote continuous improvement, and deliver valuable outcomes that meet stakeholder expectations.

Projects scope includes delivering consultancy services and certification test platforms to the Payment, Smart Mobility and Digital Identity ecosystems stakeholders. Main customers are International and Domestic Payment Schemes, Payment Service Providers, Financial Institutions, Transport Authorities, Digital Identity Service Provider.

ACTIVITIES

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop a comprehensive project plan, including task breakdown, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Team Management: Assemble and lead project teams, assign activities, provide guidance, and foster collaboration. Ensure effective communication, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the execution of project activities, ensuring that tasks are completed as per the defined plan. Monitor progress, track milestones, and manage any deviations or issues that arise during project implementation.
  • Scope and Change Management: Manage project scope by defining and controlling project boundaries. Evaluate change requests, assess their impact, and implement changes while maintaining project objectives and minimizing scope creep.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with project stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and team members. Maintain regular communication, manage expectations, and address stakeholder needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks. Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential risks on project outcomes. Monitor risks and take proactive measures to address them.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet defined standards and stakeholder expectations. Conduct regular reviews, inspections, and testing to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Monitor resource availability, adjust as needed, and manage dependencies.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular project updates, progress reports, and key milestone achievements. Foster transparent and timely communication to ensure project transparency.
  • Project Closure: Facilitate proper project closure by conducting post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned, and documenting project outcomes. Ensure the orderly handover of deliverables and transition of project responsibilities.

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • At least 7 years experience in project management roles, with proven track record of managing complex projects or portfolios
  • Proven experience within Payment Schemes, Issuing, Acquiring and Payment Service Providers technical environments and standards. Experience across Fare Collection and Ticketing systems is a welcome advantage

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Project management certification is a plus (PMP or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in project management software/tools
  • Customer oriented attitude and good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Strong analytical skills, Self-motivated committed and team player
  • Advanced risk management and mitigation skills
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English
