We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Data Engineering, ETL processes, and enterprise data platforms. What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage enterprise-scale data engineering and ETL projects from initiation through successful delivery.
• Define project plans, delivery roadmaps, timelines, milestones, resource allocation strategies, and execution frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, priorities, and data-driven business requirements.
• Translate business goals into actionable project plans and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering teams.
• Drive successful implementation of data platforms, data warehouses, and data transformation initiatives.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution activities.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, architects, leadership, and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate sprint planning, execution, progress reviews, and delivery tracking activities.
• Monitor project performance and proactively address challenges to ensure successful outcomes.
• Establish governance mechanisms to ensure project quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Oversee troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-resolution efforts across data projects.
• Ensure adherence to data engineering best practices, project management methodologies, and organizational standards.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, and production readiness activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and team effectiveness.
• Provide regular project status reports, executive updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Mentor project teams and foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 13-17 years of overall technology experience with significant experience managing large-scale data engineering programs.
• Proven experience leading complex enterprise data transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in project planning, execution, governance, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to balance technical priorities with business objectives and delivery commitments.
• Strong risk management, dependency management, and escalation handling capabilities.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts, architectures, and delivery models.
• Experience managing ETL and ELT implementation projects.
• Knowledge of modern data platform architectures and cloud-based data solutions.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale data migration and modernization programs.
• Ability to guide teams on data engineering best practices and architectural decisions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, analysis, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience reviewing data quality reports and validation results.
• Understanding of data lineage, data governance, and reporting requirements.
• Ability to participate in technical discussions involving data structures, transformations, and integrations.
• Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Python for automation, scripting, and data processing use cases.
• Hands-on exposure to Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native data solutions.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and automation practices.
• Experience working with modern data integration and orchestration tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience engaging with business leaders, architects, developers, analysts, and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to influence decision-making and drive alignment across multiple teams.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience managing customer expectations and executive communications.
• Strong understanding of delivery management and quality assurance practices.
• Experience implementing governance frameworks and project controls.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and data quality best practices.
• Ability to establish KPIs, delivery metrics, and project performance measurements.
• Strong focus on operational excellence and successful project outcomes.
