Technical Project Coordinator / Junior Technical Project Manager - Dubai

We are currently supporting a government-linked organization in the UAE that is looking to hire a Technical Project Coordinator / Junior Technical Project Manager to support multiple IT initiatives across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills who is looking to grow into a full Project Manager role within a structured, enterprise environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Professional Experience
- 35 years experience in IT project coordination or junior project management
- Experience working in enterprise or government environments (preferred)
- Exposure to software development and IT infrastructure projects
- Experience coordinating vendors and multiple stakeholders
Technical & PM Knowledge
- Understanding of SDLC and IT project delivery
- Familiarity with testing phases (SIT, UAT, Integration)
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals:
- Scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, change & stakeholder management
- Experience with project tools such as:
- Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint
- MS Teams, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Asana, or similar
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Support the end-to-end project lifecycle (initiation through closure)
- Coordinate multiple IT projects simultaneously (23 projects)
- Track milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Support Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models
Meetings & Stakeholder Management
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings
- Prepare agendas, document minutes, and track action items
- Communicate with technical teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders
- Coordinate across departments and time zones where required
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project plans, status reports, risk logs, and change logs
- Prepare weekly and monthly status updates and dashboards
- Maintain project documentation repositories (SharePoint / Teams)
- Support management and executive-level reporting
Vendor & Third-Party Coordination
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors
- Track vendor deliverables and SLA adherence
- Document vendor communications and escalate issues when required
Certifications (at least one required)
- CAPM / PMP (PMI)
- PRINCE2 Foundation
- Agile / Scrum certification (CSM or equivalent)
Preferred Certifications
- ITIL Foundation
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- PMI-ACP
- Microsoft Project certification
Language Requirements (Critical)
- Arabic: Native or fluent MANDATORY
- Professional business writing
- Ability to facilitate meetings and present in Arabic
- Translate technical concepts into Arabic
- English: Good to fluent

- Writing reports and emails
