Position Overview
We are seeking a Geospatial Report Writer & Content Specialist (Consultant) to support the preparation of technical reports, business documentation, and marketing content. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in geospatial data interpretation, business writing, and content creation to support both technical and presales efforts.
This role also requires exceptional PowerPoint (PPTX) design, graphic design, and Canva skills to create visually compelling reports, presentations, brochures, and product manuals. Additionally, the consultant will assist in business plan development, website content, proposals, and marketing materials as part of METI's presales strategy.
Fluency in both English and Arabic (writing and spoken) is required to effectively communicate with global stakeholders and regional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and finalize technical and geospatial reports covering topics such as GIS mapping, AI-driven navigation, HD mapping, and digital transformation solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and project managers to synthesize geospatial findings into well-structured reports.
- Develop high-impact PowerPoint presentations, infographics, brochures, and product manuals using Canva and other graphic design tools.
- Assist in writing business plans, proposals, and website content to support company growth.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Create marketing content, including product documentation, white papers, and presales materials.
- Utilize AI-powered writing tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and improve content quality.
- Ensure all documents align with industry standards, client expectations, and METI's branding guidelines.
- Conduct technical research and data analysis to support reporting accuracy and completeness.
- Manage document formatting, consistency, and readability to maintain professional standards.
- Maintain version control and track document revisions as needed.
- Work within tight deadlines to support client and internal project timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Engineering, GIS, Communications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Business Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, business writing, or geospatial reporting, preferably within mapping, AI, robotics, or digital transformation sectors.
- Strong understanding of geospatial technologies, GIS concepts, AI-driven navigation, and mapping solutions.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint (PPTX), Canva, and graphic design tools to create engaging visuals and reports.
- Experience with GIS mapping and data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) is an asset.
- Familiarity with AI-powered writing tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) for content optimization.
- Proven ability to write business plans, marketing content, and presales materials such as brochures, product manuals, and proposals.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and present complex geospatial and technical data in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
