Egrobots, a leading deeptech startup, is hiring Technical Sales Engineers with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background to help us expand across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy customer-facing work, problem solving, and turning technical solutions into clear business value.
What you'll do
- Own the full technical sales cycle: discovery, demos, proposals, and closing support
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and the right Egrobots solution
- Prepare strong technical & financial proposals (BoQ, scope, timelines, assumptions)
- Run site visits, technical meetings, and presentations with decision makers
- Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure feasibility and delivery readiness
- Support post-sales handover and maintain long-term customer relationships
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 1+ year experience preferred (technical sales, presales, project engineering, automation, IoT, robotics, HVAC, industrial systems, etc.)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand customer operations and propose practical solutions
- Willingness to travel between Egypt and Saudi Arabia
- English is required
Nice to have
- Experience with proposals, BoQs, tender/RFP responses
- Familiarity with industrial environments (factories, utilities, agriculture, facilities)
- Knowledge of sensors, control panels, PLC/SCADA, telemetry, networking, or mechanical systems
