About ALPHX

ALPHX is a Dubai-based B2B supplier of specialty chemicals and technical solutions for water treatment and reverse osmosis (RO) applications. Our initial focus is on RO antiscalants and water treatment chemicals, serving water treatment companies, RO system operators, industrial facilities, EPC contractors and distributors in the UAE and regional markets.

Role: Technical Sales Engineer – Water Treatment

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Sales Engineer to help develop ALPHX's water treatment chemicals business in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B customers in the UAE water treatment market.

• Visit water treatment companies, RO plants, industrial facilities, contractors and potential distributors.

• Generate leads, arrange meetings and actively follow up sales opportunities.

• Understand customer RO systems, water analysis and operating conditions.

• Support selection and application of RO antiscalants and other water treatment chemicals.

• Prepare quotations, proposals and technical/commercial offers.

• Follow opportunities from initial contact through quotation, negotiation and order.

• Develop long-term relationships with customers and technical decision-makers.

• Provide regular reports on leads, customer visits, quotations and sales pipeline.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in water treatment in the UAE or GCC preferred.

• Practical knowledge of RO systems and water treatment chemicals.

• Experience in technical sales or business development.

• Knowledge of RO antiscalants, membrane systems, water analysis and chemical dosing is a strong advantage.

• Existing relationships within the UAE water treatment industry are a strong advantage.

• Engineering, chemistry, environmental science or related technical background preferred.

• Good English communication and presentation skills.

• UAE driving licence is preferred.

What We Are Looking For

This is a hands-on business development role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable identifying prospects, making direct customer contact, visiting sites, developing opportunities and helping build a growing water treatment chemicals business from an early stage.
