ABB Smart Buildings enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort for any building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions. The Division offers integrated digital technologies to control HVAC, lighting, shutters, and security, in addition to energy distribution solutions including DIN rail products, enclosures and emergency lighting through to industrial plugs and sockets and conventional wiring accessories, accommodating for single family homes, multiple dwellings, commercial buildings, infrastructure and industrial applications. The Division's highly innovative technologies and digital solutions serve rising global demand among real estate developers, owners, and investors for smart building technologies that optimize energy distribution and building automation. The scalable solutions aim to deliver significant sustainable and financial benefits, meeting social and environmental demands, while being able to address even the most complex of customers carbon reduction strategies.

The work model for the role is: onsite

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Quality Control & Process Compliance:

Conduct routine quality checks on partners manufacturing and assembly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design guidelines.

Review FAT process to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies and escalate findings when needed. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports covering partner activity and QC findings. Analyze quality trends and provide recommendations for process improvements. Support audit preparation by ensuring documentation integrity and traceability

  • Coordination & Continuous Improvement:

Offers product/solution/service-related training Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline workflows affecting the channel ecosystem. Participate in the development and refinement of QC checklists, SOPs, and internal guidelines. Provide feedback to management on recurring issues or partner challenges.

  • Safety, Governance & Risk Mitigation:

Ensure that all partner documentation and internal processes adhere to company safety, compliance, and governance standards. Report any observed compliance risks, safety concerns, or irregularities in documentation or partner behavior. Support the implementation of safe operational practices, including escalation protocols for fraudulent activity, incorrect orders, or policy violations.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC methodologies or internal audit processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Min. L2 certification.
  • Fluent in English communication
