Technical Expert Unified Communication
Job Description:
- Plan, design, develop and deliver Network & Communication infrastructure and services that will address corporate, airport community and external customer needs and growth.
- Optimize the infrastructure to ensure smooth operation.
- Plan, design, and deliver continuous improvements and capacity management for the Network & Communications to support the operational needs and business growth.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans and ensure continuity and reliability of Network & Communication infrastructure & services. Identify risks, prepare control and mitigation plans and implement the same.
- Ensure the integrity of all network systems and implement effective controls and processes for securing systems and customer sensitive data in line with BT Cybersecurity measures and controls.
- Provide expertise and work closely with Program Management to support the delivery of strategic projects
- Test, validate, and supervise the handover activities of network and security infrastructure solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of all network and communication infrastructure.
- Manage, operate and maintain the Network & communication infrastructure and services on 24x7 basis to ensure > 99.99% service availability on annual basis.
- Liaise with network suppliers for the root cause analysis and network problem management
- Ensure successful resolution of level 3 & 4 support requests escalated by Service Desk based on agreed Service Levels. Prepare incident reports, perform root cause analysis and update knowledgebase as required.
Knowledge & Certification - Unified Communication:
- Professional or expert level certification in Alcatel Oxe
- Certification or proven hands-on expertise managing & operating TETRA Infrastructure
- Certification or proven hands-on expertise in managing & operating Genesys Call Center solution
- Certification or proven hands-on expertise in managing & operating Zetron ICRS solution
- Certification in Meeting room solutions
Experience & Skills:
- 8+ yrs
- Knowledge with 5G, VOIP, Genesys, Contact Center, and tetra core experience.
- In addition to the general requirements stated above, this role must demonstrate expert level skill set, experience and understanding in:
- Capability to supervise the execution of tactical plans based on given objectives
- Working knowledge of IT Systems and Communication Operations & Maintenance
- Knowledge of PABX, VOIP Telephony, Video Conferencing systems, Unified Communication solutions, Call Centre systems, ADSL Network, GSM, ISDN, Fibre Optic, Structured cabling system, Tetra Radio technologies, Integrated Communication Control Systems (ICCS), Multiplexers, LTE, SDH/STM16 networks, SCN and automated Vehicle Tracking systems
- Knowledge of Network and Security fundamentals and concepts
- Working knowledge of the Airport business operations
