Job Title: Technical Standards Engineer
Location: Middle East (excluding UAE) | Full-Time | On-Site
We are looking for an experienced Technical Standards Engineer to join a leading Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) provider in the Middle East. In this role, you will support the maintenance team by ensuring technical procedures meet the highest regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor aircraft maintenance and task-level documentation across hangars
- Work closely with engineers, mechanics, and managers to resolve documentation and procedural issues
- Guide teams to follow regulatory and internal standards through on-site coaching
- Collect and review compliance data; prepare weekly/monthly reports for leadership
- Stay updated with EASA Part 145 requirements and recommend process improvements
- Participate in safety and environmental compliance programs
Requirements
- Licensed B1 or B2 Aircraft Engineer (Airbus and/or Boeing type approval preferred)
- At least 10 years of aviation maintenance experience, including base/heavy maintenance
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part 145 compliance and certification standards
- Previous leadership experience (e.g., Shift Leader, Supervisor, or Technical Rep)
- Experience with Quality and Safety Management Systems and MS Office tools
- Strong communication, analysis, and coaching skills
- Comfortable working across shifts and in a multicultural environment
