We are looking for a technical superintendent who can ensure the technical condition of our dry bulk vessels is maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct periodical inspections of vessels technical condition.
- Oversee safety, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage supplies for proper Opex management.
Qualifications
- Chief Engineer (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Minimum 5–10 years sea service.
- Minimum 2–3 years of sailing as a Chief Engineer with bulk carrier experience.
- At least 3 times dry docking experience of bulk carriers.
- Having ancillary certificates as: ISM internal Auditor, Dry Dock Project Management (preferred).
- To have good knowledge about the following regulatory subjects: BWTS, CII, EEXI, FuelEU, EU ETS.
Required Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with dry-docking projects.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations.
