About The Role
Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to sales teams and conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific pricing.
This job profile is intended for early-career professionals who apply broad theoretical knowledge and require the ability to investigate and analyze problems. Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and conduct technical sales briefings. Analyze customer specifications and estimate technical requirements. Evaluate sales proposals for technical accuracy. Support implementation and troubleshooting of solutions. Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams. Skills & Qualifications Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role. Technical and commercial acumen. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple proposals. Willingness to learn and adapt.
Job Purpose
To provide accurate and timely techno-commercial support for standard products and orders, ensuring data integrity, system correctness, and smooth coordination between sales, factories and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on building technical discipline and supporting day-to-day operations beside building the candidate technical competencies in Public Utilities and Infrastructure filed.
Job Description Breakdown
- Draft Orders Technical Cleaning.
- Standard Products PN creation.
- Preparing Inspection Scope and initiating communications with Factories regarding Technical
Clarifications related to Testing Scope and Engineering Raising Concerns during Order
Placement Phase.
- Providing accurate transfer prices for O&L for all products at the time of order entry.
- Assisting in item entry processes on SAP for all products according to technical specifications
and customers POs requirements.
- Equipment Pricing, Preparation of Guarantee Tables, and Quote Implementation on the ERP
system.
- Standard Equipment Selection.
- Matriculate daily communication with distributors and direct accounts regarding standard RFQs
and general clarifications.
