Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other teams to define project scope, requirements, and priorities.
  • Set the technical direction for the team, making decisions on architecture, design, and technology.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, advocating for the adoption of new technologies when appropriate.
  • Enforce coding standards and best practices to maintain high-quality code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment between engineering and other departments.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Implement and promote agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency in the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Solid Experience working in the fin-tech Industry.
  • Previous experience working in start-up companies.
  • 5+ Years of Proven experience in software development, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Experience managing and leading software engineering teams.
  • Experience in .Net and Angular
  • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, coding languages, and frameworks.
