Job Purpose:
The role holder is responsible to implement and deliver employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines such as management development, talent management, soft-skills development, technical training, or e-learning.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conducts in-house technical training to technicians, quality controller, team leader, and service advisor as per the requirements by the workshop.
- Conducts technical and Product training (N-STEP) to technicians, quality controller, team leader, and service advisor.
- Cascades necessary information to all concerned staff concerning trainings attended (e.g. New Model Train the Trainor training to NMEF)
- Conducts technical training to fleet companies as per established requirements.
- Conduct Skills Contest activities (preparation, elimination round, exams, coaching etc.).
- Supports the Technical Training Manager analyzing the staff's training needs.
- Schedule and maintain monthly and annual training calendars and ensure cascade training is executed as planned.
- Maintain all training records, documentation, and related reports in an organized and up-to-date manner.
- Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accurate tracking of training activities and user data.
- Undertake additional responsibility as required.
Background & Experience (years)
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Technical Trainer in the automotive industry.
- Practical hands-on experience as an automotive technician.
- Certified in Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program by Nissan and other automotive brand.
- Certified in Electric Vehicle (EV) technology.
- Winner / champion in technical skill contests etc.
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficient in computer applications including presentations, digital platforms, and documentation.
- Previous experience working as a Trainer in the GCC region.
