Summary:
A Technical Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of employees or trainees. Their key functions include developing training materials, conducting hands-on sessions, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Responsibilities involve assessing training needs, tracking progress, and providing feedback to participants while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and methodologies.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure that training initiatives support the organization's objectives and strategic priorities.
- Develop, implement, and update technical training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify technical skill gaps and define training requirements.
- Work closely with facility managers to plan and schedule training sessions efficiently.
- Create and revise technical manuals, visual aids, testing tools, and evaluation materials tailored to the audience.
- Conduct hands-on technical training, including new employee inductions, equipment safety protocols, and process training.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive training documentation in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Train workshop personnel on effective coaching, technical procedures, and performance evaluation techniques.
- Deliver technical training sessions for customers as per the scheduled calendar.
- Conduct specialized training for Saudi talent and technical development initiatives.
- Continuously update training content and methods to reflect industry advancements and emerging technologies.
- Manage training-related communications, reports, evaluations, and logistical tasks such as maintaining materials and supplies.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Convey technical concepts to diverse audiences, including trainees, engagingly.
- Tailor training approaches to suit different learning styles and technical skill levels, ensuring a comprehensive understanding.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including employees, workshop staff, and management, to align training objectives with organizational goals.
- Address challenges during training sessions with innovative and practical solutions.
- Inspire and encourage trainees to actively engage, learn, and apply new skills in their roles.
- Attentively understand trainee feedback and queries to ensure clarity and enhance the training experience.
Technical Skills:
- Superior automotive systems knowledge of engines, transmission, suspension, steering, and electric/electronic components.
- Proven Hands-on experience in the automotive field, and training experience.
- Basic knowledge in the Electric vehicles field.
IT Skills:
- Proficient in using and managing platforms for training delivery.
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar software for creating training materials.
- Familiarity with tools like Articulate or Adobe Captivate for interactive content development.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace for documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and ERP systems.
Education:
- Degree must be either in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
