Technician - BMS

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled BMS Technician to support project site works, installation, testing & commissioning, and maintenance activities. The role will work closely with site engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth execution of assigned projects from post-sales to final handover.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

Assist commissioning and site engineers during all project stages (design, installation, testing, commissioning, handover).

Supervise and guide subcontractors to ensure correct and timely BMS installation as per approved shop drawings.

Prepare and submit site work completion reports to support Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).

Carry out pre-testing of DDC panels and perform pre-commissioning activities as per approved point schedules.

Coordinate with suppliers and specialists for smooth BMS system integration.

Support preparation and submission of project invoices and maintain proper documentation.

Perform Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) Preventive Maintenance (PPM), report faults, and coordinate with sales team for quotations and customer updates.

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards at all times.

Knowledge in reading and understanding AutoCAD BMS shop drawings.

Coordination with installation sub-contractors to track the status of work progress and raise inspections for approval.

Complete assigned tasks to meet or exceed customer's KPIs.

Skills & Experience

Education/Certification: Diploma / Technical Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, or related field

3 5 years experience in BMS installation, site works, and commissioning support

Hands-on experience in BMS devices, DDC panels, cabling, and troubleshooting

Strong understanding of system architecture and documentation practices.

Strong reporting, coordination, and teamwork skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
