About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for a technician to join our Engineering Team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Oversee and control all marina technical systems, including utilities, structures, lighting, pump-out systems, gates, and fire protection.
- Ensure proper functioning of seawater circulation, sanitary facilities, substations, pump stations, sewage cleaning, water tanks, parking areas, and prefabricated facilities.
- Organize disposal of hazardous waste through authorized service providers.
- Coordinate external maintenance services and support budget preparation for technical operations.
- Inspect and verify all marina safety equipment and systems while maintaining required technical documentation.
- Monitor utility consumption, manage work permits, support vendors, and record damages for insurance reporting.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- High school education with a relevant technical diploma and 1+ years of technical department experience.
- Strong technical competencies and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proven problem-solving ability with solid leadership and team-management skills.
- Creative mindset with effective project-management capabilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong behavioral and organizational competencies.
