Job purpose

As a Technician Welder within the Container Conversion Division, your primary responsibility is to perform MIG and ARC welding with strict adherence to technical drawings and safety standards. This role is essential to ensure projects are completed on time, maintaining the highest quality and satisfaction levels.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Execute MIG and ARC welding tasks with a strong emphasis on quality, precision, and safety.
• Interpret engineering drawings accurately to ensure exact execution of fabrication and welding processes.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors, adhering to their guidance to enhance task outcomes.
• Conduct quality control inspections upon task completion and promptly address corrections as directed by QC officers.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations to foster a secure working environment.
• Efficiently complete assigned tasks within set timeframes, demonstrating effective time management.
• Optimize material usage, minimizing wastage to align with resource efficiency and sustainability goals.
• Exhibit punctuality and consistent attendance to reinforce a dependable work ethic.

Education requirements

A diploma or relevant certification in welding techniques is preferred.

Background and experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a welder, preferably with MIG and ARC welding.
• UAE experience is preferred but not mandatory.
