Technology Engineer (UAE National)

JOB OVERVIEW

The Network, Datacenter and Security division is an integral part of this activity, and will be responsible to drive the continuous product engineering lifecycle of a defined set of technologies; that will deliver a standard stack of consumable products within Emirates NBD Datacenters in the following areas:

1. Network Security: covering IPSec, ACLs, routing protocol authentication.
2. Network and Voice: covering Data Network Switching & Routing, Voice Infrastructure and all telecom links across all locations and Datacenters.
3. Datacenter: covering all Datacenters, server rooms, IDFs facilities own or rented by Emirates NBD.

In this role, Candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the enterprise network infrastructure of organization. He should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture. He must have work experience on Network Routing, Switching, Aruba Wi-Fi implementation, NAC setup through CPPM, Maintain Cisco ISE Tacacs, Able to configure and deploy network devices in a new or existing location Good to have Automation skills, understanding of silverpeak WAN-Optimizer, Cloud Networking, Cisco ACI fabric. He should be passionate about security and data protection. His goal will be to establish high performance stable network environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design and configure Enterprise LAN/WAN Network
2. Configure new Network Routers or Switches for fresh implementation
3. Able to troubleshoot existing network in case of an incident and solve the problem
4. Understanding network connectivity and protocols
5. Understanding Routing Protocols and concepts through implementation
6. Configure New network Switch, upgrade it and secure the switch by closing vulnerabilities
7. Documentation of design and processes to maintain the network
8. Able to understand Cisco ISE Tacacs setup
9. Able to maintain network devices through tacacs
10. Able to clean up and enhance ISE performance
11. Maintain network devices through cisco ISE by adding network devices, managing existing users and arranging proper access

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent
2. More important than a degree is a foundation of hands-on, applicable experience
3. Proven track record in designing and implementing (not consuming) network solutions for enterprise networks
4. 3+ years exposure to network engineering or operations. Strong working experience of switching, routing and automation
5. Hands-on experience with following platforms: Cisco, Solarwinds, Cisco ISE, Switching and Routing
6. Aruba Silverpeak, Wi-Fi and CPPM
7. Ability to read and understand network topologies figuring out bottlenecks and choke points for the protocols operating on L1 through L7 of OSI model
8. Experience delivering within Agile framework
9. Ability to orient oneself and conduct changes in a heavily regulated environment, good understanding of tight change management practices
10. Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
11. Incidence management and strong root cause analysis skill
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
13. A design thinker that is comfortable with vagueness and unknowns
14. A collaborator and co-creator with others
