Job Summary

We are a growing software and technology solutions company seeking a results-driven Technology Sales Executive to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has strong experience in cold calling, consultative selling, and managing end-to-end sales cycles within the technology or software industry.

This role requires someone who understands how to communicate technical solutions in a clear, business-focused manner and can confidently engage decision-makers, identify needs, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Perform cold calls and outbound sales activities to generate new business opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage potential customers.
  • Manage inbound sales inquiries and follow up on leads.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline using CRM tools.

Sales Conversations & Closing

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client business needs and challenges.
  • Present and explain technology solutions and services in a clear and persuasive way.
  • Handle objections, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales documentation.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during the sales process.
  • Coordinate with technical and delivery teams for smooth handover after closing.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Awareness & Reporting

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and market demands.
  • Track and report sales activities and performance to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Sales Skills

  • Proven experience in technology sales, software sales, or IT services sales.
  • Strong cold calling and outbound sales experience.
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently.

Technical Understanding

  • Basic to strong understanding of:
    • Software and IT services
    • SaaS and cloud-based solutions
    • Web and mobile applications
    • Digital transformation concepts
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident phone presence and professional sales approach.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and online demos.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)

  • B2B sales experience in the technology sector
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Odoo, etc.)
  • Experience working with enterprise or SMB clients
  • Understanding of software development or IT consulting services

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

  • Number of outbound calls and follow-ups
