Workforce Planning
Conduct strategic operational workforce planning to ensure continuous and sufficient availability of competent staff across all technology directorates and departments
Coordinate with all technology directorates and departments to identify staffing constraints and develop plans to address through recruitments and rotations.
Develop and maintain rostering schedule for technology staff in coordination with respective Sector and Department Managers
Act as the primary point of contact with the HR Department on all matters related to Manpower planning to ensure alignment of the technology plan and the SANS Plan
Workforce Productivity Assessment
Ensuring the efficient utilization of the current workforce amongst the technology directorates and departments.
Coordinate the validation and certification of technology Staff, when applicable, and ensure that proper records are kept
Maintains up to date knowledge of staff movements within the area of responsibility.
Monitor the attrition levels to ensure that attrition rate is maintained or below the policy standards.
Analyse the productivity and time spent on jobs and activities to estimate the workload to be handled by positions being analysed.
Staff Database Management
Coordinate the validation and certification of technology Staff and trainer, when applicable, and ensure that proper records are kept
Develop and maintain a database of all technology Staff, including movements records, certifications and validations and ensure that they are communicated to the HR Department
Policies, Processes and Procedures
Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
