As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tendering Engineer to support the preparation of competitive and high-quality tender submissions across our projects. Key Responsibilities

• Study tender documents including drawings, specifications, BOQs, and schedules.
• Participate in preparing complete tender packages for projects (design & build and conventional).
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Develop cost breakdown structures covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with technical departments to ensure accuracy of scope and pricing.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements.
• Participate in value engineering proposals to optimize cost without compromising quality.
• Attend tender clarification meetings and respond to client queries.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and negotiate terms.
• Assist in analyzing project costs versus estimated budgets for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• 1-3 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or technical office roles within construction or EPC companies.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, and tendering processes.
• Experience in quantity take-off and preparing cost breakdowns.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
