Job Description

We are looking for a Tendering & Estimation Engineer to join our team and support the preparation of competitive and accurate commercial offers for interior design, furniture, FF&E, and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and commercial quotations for projects.
  • Analyze quantities, materials, finishes, and technical specifications.
  • Request and compare quotations from local and international suppliers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain the best prices, lead times, and commercial terms.
  • Prepare pricing sheets, cost breakdowns, and tender comparison sheets.
  • Ensure all tender requirements, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial conditions are clearly identified.
  • Coordinate with the design, procurement, production, and project management teams to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Follow up on supplier quotations and clarify technical or commercial discrepancies.
  • Support value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Maintain updated supplier databases, price lists, and costing records.
  • Assist in preparing final tender submissions and commercial offers within required deadlines.
  • Monitor market prices and keep track of material and furniture cost fluctuations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, pricing, procurement, or a related role.
  • Experience in FF&E, furniture, interior fit-out, hospitality, or construction is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantities, materials, finishes, and furniture specifications.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier communication skills.
  • Very good command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Fluent English is required.
