Job Summary
The Tendering Manager will oversee the entire tendering process for facility management projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards. The role involves leading a team of tendering professionals to develop competitive bids and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of tender documents for facility management projects.
- Analyze tender specifications and requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Develop and implement tendering strategies to maximize win rates.
- Coordinate with various departments (operations, finance, etc.) to gather necessary information for bids.
- Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Review and approve all tender submissions before finalization.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform bidding strategies.
- Train and mentor junior tendering staff and provide guidance on best practices.
- Conduct post-tender analysis to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in tendering and facility management, with at least 10 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of facility management services and industry standards.
