Job Summary

The Tendering Manager will oversee the entire tendering process for facility management projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards. The role involves leading a team of tendering professionals to develop competitive bids and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and submission of tender documents for facility management projects.
  • Analyze tender specifications and requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement tendering strategies to maximize win rates.
  • Coordinate with various departments (operations, finance, etc.) to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Review and approve all tender submissions before finalization.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform bidding strategies.
  • Train and mentor junior tendering staff and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Conduct post-tender analysis to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in tendering and facility management, with at least 10 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of facility management services and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
