Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & develop robust test strategies, automation frameworks, and methodologies to ensure software quality at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, project managers) to shape and execute quality assurance initiatives.
• Drive Release Planning by defining software readiness criteria and ensuring seamless production deployment.
• Enhance Testing Efficiency by spotting bottlenecks, providing technical guidance, and automating key workflows.
• Create & Maintain test cases, scripts, and regression suites across functional, performance, and security testing.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis for complex issues, working closely with engineering for swift resolutions.
• Stay Ahead of Industry Trends, leveraging best practices in QA, test automation, and DevOps-driven testing.
• Define Key Metrics for software quality, tracking test effectiveness and championing continuous improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development in Test (SDET).
• Proficiency in test automation, scripting, and no-code tool creation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, etc.).
• Proven track record leading QA efforts in medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and automation frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Patrol (Flutter-based), Appium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Skilled at defining test plans, quality metrics, and test strategies.
• Knowledge of at least one modern OOP language.
• Experience collaborating with dev teams on test strategies, automation, and CI/CD integration.
• Experience working with external SDET teams to define test expectations and execution plans.
