JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the Test Engineer role is to ensure functionality/performance/reliability/safety testing and overall quality of our products and projects by designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies. Test Engineers are responsible for identifying and resolving defects, verifying software functionality, and validating that products meet the specified requirements and performance standards. Through systematic testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams, Test Engineers play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet customer expectations and contribute to the overall success of the development process.
KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for the testing of SenseTime's AI projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including but not limited to functional, performance, algorithm, and system integration testing.
- According to the test requirements, build a test development system, establish a test optimization closed loop, and improve test efficiency and quality.
- Participate in requirements review, formulate test plan, design test case, and then do test review and execution, finally give the test issue and quality reports.
- Accurately locate and track the problems in testing and then work with R&D for debugging, drive team to find effective resolution of problems.
- Participate in team building, share testing experience, and provide suggestions for improvement.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science, Electronics or Telecommunications related area.
- Deep understanding and practice of related basic IT knowledge such as operating system, data structure, network, and webpage; Proficiency in programming with Java/Python/Shell/JavaScript/Html (at least one programming language).
- Familiar with mainstream automated testing technology on open-source frameworks and related tools, such as Selenium/Appium/Pytest & Postman/K8S/JMeter/Jenkins etc., have rich and independent experience in building test frameworks and environment deployment.
- Familiar with Internet application development and testing process, have a deep understanding of common test scenarios and testing methods; Able to write high-quality test plans, test cases and test reports, and able to identify quality risks in each node and propose effective solutions.
- Have strong ability on anti-stress, communication, logical thinking, and able to analyse, and summarize problems.
- Excellent team awareness and rigorous working attitude.
