Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Test lead with +10 years of experience, specializing in the end-to-end testing and quality assurance of Temenos T24 Core Banking implementations. This is an onsite deployment role critical for the successful launch of a new bank, requiring expert-level knowledge of T24 architecture, banking regulations, and large-scale program management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance
- Establish the Testing Program: Define, implement, and manage the overall Quality Assurance and Testing Strategy for the entire T24 core banking implementation program, covering all testing phases (SIT, UAT, Performance, Security, and Dress Rehearsals).
- Resource and Budget Management: Manage the entire testing budget, forecasting resource needs (onsite and offshore), and securing the necessary infrastructure and tools (e.g., test environments, data provisioning tools).
- Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and prioritize all testing-related risks and dependencies, developing contingency plans, particularly those related to Data Migration and T24 customization/integration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all testing activities comply with local regulatory requirements (e.g., SAMA in KSA, CBUAE in UAE) and industry standards, including mandatory T24 Model Bank scenarios.
Technical Leadership
- T24 Expertise: Deep knowledge of Temenos T24/Transact core modules (e.g., AA, Loans, Deposits, Payments, Teller) and integration layers. Must ensure the testing approach validates the configured T24 Model Bank processes and customizations.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the T24 vendor and implementation partner, managing expectations, and driving cross-functional alignment between business, development, and infrastructure teams.
- Test Environment Strategy: Oversee the planning and stability of multiple complex test environments required for T24 integration across various phases.
Reporting & Sign-off
- Lead all Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and Go/No-Go decisions.
- Present clear, executive-level Quality Metrics and Defect Trend Analysis to the Steering Committee.
- Own the final Test Completion/Closure sign-off for Production deployment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT Quality Assurance and Testing, with a minimum of 5 years in a Test Management role for large-scale core banking projects.
- Mandatory: Extensive, verifiable experience managing the quality assurance and testing lifecycle for at least one full, end-to-end Temenos T24/Transact implementation.
- Strong understanding of banking processes across Retail, Corporate, and Treasury operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills suitable for a senior onsite deployment role.
