Position Title:Test Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in Mobile Banking and end-to-end testing processes. The ideal candidate will lead the testing team, manage project deliverables, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor testing progress, and ensure strict adherence to quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Execution
- Ensure complete adherence to the organization's test processes, methodologies, and standards.
- Oversee the creation of test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Track and manage testing activities, results, coverage, and defect metrics.
2. Team Leadership & Work Allocation
- Assign tasks to team members and manage workload efficiently across testing phases.
- Monitor, guide, and mentor the testing team to ensure high performance.
- Conduct daily defect discussions, ensuring prompt resolution and proper prioritization.
3. Project Coordination & Delivery
- Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring testing is on schedule.
- Keep track of new requirements, change requests, and ensure their alignment with testing efforts.
- Coordinate with business users, product owners, and other stakeholders for inputs, clarifications, reviews, and approvals.
4. Reporting & Metrics
- Provide timely and accurate reports on:
- Test progress
- Test results
- Defect statistics
- Test coverage
- Risks and mitigation plans
- Responsible for Metrics Measurement and Implementation, ensuring continuous improvement in the QA process.
5. Communication & Collaboration
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination between development, business, and QA teams.
- Ensure transparent communication of testing risks, dependencies, and issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 610+ years experience in software testing, including at least 24 years in a Test Manager / Lead role.
- Strong domain knowledge in Mobile Banking, mobile channels, transactions, and user journeys.
- Proven experience leading test teams in complex digital banking or fintech projects.
- Handson understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, test processes, and automation basics.
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, etc.).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
