Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems (SEC approval preferred).
- Strong knowledge of power systems, protection relays, and high-voltage equipment.
- Proven expertise in substation testing methodologies and commissioning procedures.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and commissioning activities for electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protection systems.
- Execute testing of substation components such as CTs, VTs, CBs, busbars, and associated systems.
- Review, verify, and approve technical documentation, testing procedures, and commissioning plans.
- Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and risk assessments to ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and project standards.
- Prepare and submit technical reports, test results, and system performance documentation.
- Coordinate closely with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely, safe, and efficient commissioning execution.
