Job Description

To monitor, operate, and maintain the TETRA (Core, Radio , IBS & Applications) network, including preventive and corrective maintenance, network health monitoring, ensuring end-to-end service continuity for mission-critical users by meeting the set SLAs. The TETRA network supports critical infrastructure sectors for mission critical communications. It includes Core, Base stations, indoor IBS systems, and dispatching solutions. Technicians are responsible to maintain the system by trouble shooting , fault resolution to ensure reliability, high availability, and compliance with standards. & coordinating with NOC, vendors, power teams, and field teams as and when required.

Monitor and troubleshoot TETRA network issues in accordance with defined O&M procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Document faults and resolutions using the HPSM system or equivalent.

Plan and execute preventive maintenance for all TETRA elements including IBS.

Conduct site readiness checks and acceptance for new TETRA sites and IBS installations.

Collect and analyse logs and traces for technical root cause analysis.

Follow up on issues raised in care meetings and technical committees.

Maintain inventory status for TETRA hardware and spare parts.

Coordinate with internal departments (Transmission, Field Support, Power, NOC) and vendors.

Respond to NOC and ensure fast resolution.

Generate HFR (Hardware Fault Report) and ensure return/repair of faulty equipment.

Supervise vendor activities during site works or special projects.

Maintain clean and controlled spare parts storage and track inventory.

Create and manage change requests for network activities in HPSM.

Ensure all activities are logged into the TETRA O&M database.

Support Rollout activities such as installation, integration and tests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor&aposs degree or Diploma in electronics and Telecommunication or related field.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom O&M, preferably TETRA or similar systems.
  • Understanding of TETRA systems, indoor IBS solutions, RF tools, and protocols.
  • Familiarity with system integration, remote support, and fault management tools.
  • Knowledge of technical workflows and escalation process.
  • Competence in diagnostic tools, IP configuration, and indoor signal testing.
