Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Thermodynamics Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced cooling and dehumidification systems for Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) technologies. This role focuses on building highly efficient thermodynamic cycles and improving water extraction performance through innovative cooling solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving R&D and engineering excellence across HVAC, refrigeration, and large-scale dehumidification systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize thermodynamic and refrigeration systems for AWG applications.
  • Develop advanced cooling solutions including desiccant, absorption, and hybrid technologies.
  • Perform heat transfer, psychrometric, and energy efficiency analysis.
  • Design and integrate large-scale dehumidification systems.
  • Conduct simulations, testing, and performance validation using engineering tools.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on system integration and product development.
  • Support R&D initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and system performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and compliance reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or advanced cooling system design.
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, psychrometrics, and dehumidification systems.
  • Experience in desiccant, absorption, or hybrid cooling technologies.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB, ANSYS, EES, or equivalent.
  • Experience in industrial HVAC, environmental control systems, or AWG technologies is highly preferred.
