Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Third-Party Inspection Services Manager with strong experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in managing onshore and offshore inspection projects for ADNOC and/or its group companies.
The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of third-party inspection services, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, commercially, and in accordance with client requirements, applicable international standards, and ADNOC specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, mobilisation, execution, and completion of third-party inspection projects across onshore and offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, particularly ADNOC and its operating companies,ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate inspection manpower, equipment, logistics, subcontractors, and specialist resources.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ADNOC, EPC contractors, major Oil & Gas operators, and other key clients.
- Understand client requirements and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and expand the inspection services portfolio.
- Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and quotations.
- Participate in client meetings, tender clarification meetings, and technical discussions.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure commercial requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and business growth within existing accounts.
- Lead and manage inspection teams, including inspectors, engineers, coordinators, and subcontracted personnel.
- Monitor project profitability, revenue, costs, utilisation, and resource deployment.
- Review project budgets and ensure delivery remains within approved commercial parameters.
- Monitor timesheets, overtime, subcontractor costs, and other project-related expenses.
- Support invoicing and ensure timely submission and approval of client documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety, quality, or client requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in third-party inspection, quality assurance, inspection services, asset integrity, or related Oil & Gas services.
- Proven experience in managing onshore and offshore inspection projects within the UAE.
- Strong ADNOC experience is essential, preferably with direct experience managing inspection services/projects for ADNOC or its group companies.
- Strong understanding of ADNOC standards, specifications, procedures, and contractor requirements.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary inspection teams and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of relevant international codes and standards such as API, ASME, AWS, ASTM, ISO, and applicable NDT standards.
- Experience with inspection and certification requirements for Oil & Gas facilities, equipment, piping, structures, and associated assets.
- Strong project management and commercial management experience.
- Experience in client relationship management and tender/business development activities.
- Previous experience managing offshore personnel and operations is highly desirable.
