Responsibilities
- Perform surgeries related to thoracic diseases, such as lung surgeries, esophagectomies, and mediastinal procedures
- Assess patients medical histories and diagnostic test results to devise personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other specialists, including pulmonologists and oncologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Oversee patient management throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
- Educate patients and their families on the nature of thoracic conditions and potential treatment pathways
- Maintain precise and detailed medical records for all patient encounters and interventions
- Keep abreast of advancements in thoracic surgery and related medical technology
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in Thoracic Surgery
- Board certification in Thoracic Surgery
- Current medical license to practice in the Gulf region
- Significant experience in conducting thoracic surgical procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of thoracic anatomy and surgical techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage high-stress situations proficiently
