Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair tire issues, including punctures, leaks, and tread wear.
- Mount, balance, and rotate tires to ensure even wear and extend tire lifespan.
- Install new tires on cars, trucks, and other vehicles as needed.
- Maintain proper air pressure and alignment to optimize vehicle handling and safety.
- Operate tire-changing and balancing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers in selecting the right tires based on their needs and budget.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tire pressure, tread depth, and alignment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and explaining repairs.
- Dispose of old tires following environmental and company policies.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Previous experience as a tire technician or in a related automotive role is preferred.
- Knowledge of different tire brands, types, and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle suspension and alignment is a plus.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
