Elle Cosmetics is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Toll Manufacturing Section Head to lead and manage our third-party manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in cosmetics manufacturing, customer project management, production coordination, and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all toll manufacturing activities to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled efficiently and on time.
- Act as the primary liaison between toll manufacturing customers and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, R&D, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure all customer specifications, formulations, packaging requirements, and quality standards are accurately implemented during manufacturing.
- Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of toll manufacturing orders.
- Ensure the availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and production resources required for manufacturing activities.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues that may impact production timelines, quality, or customer satisfaction.
- Lead new product transfer, scale-up, validation, and commercial production activities for toll manufacturing customers.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, company procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of deviations, non-conformities, customer complaints, and CAPA activities.
- Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and technical visits by ensuring operational and documentation readiness.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, resource utilization, and operational performance to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare periodic reports on project status, production performance, and key operational KPIs.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Contract Manufacturing industries.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, production planning, quality systems, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience in Toll Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, or Private Label Manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
