Responsibilities :
- Enter materials, tools, equipment requests in the Procurement System and confirm delivery date.
- Communicate the order and delivery status by setting various material status/flags throughout the work order cycle in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Communicate any potential changes in material specifications between the supplier and the requestor and initiate system update as appropriate.
- Share and raise awareness of MRO potential either for stock or non-stock item coding.
- Forward non-coded items to PPM Coordinator and coordinate the disposition of all surplus material.
- Monitor/track materials, tools and equipment orders upon receipt.
- May provide requisitioning support for requirements outside of maintenance: operations supplies, projects, etc.
- Arrange materials, tools and equipment in a manner that it can be identified and picked up according to job needs.
- Gather information and input into the appropriate maintenance measures/KPIs such as hot shots (abnormal cost of rush delivery), receipt backlog and material delays.
- Communicate vendor's performance to procurement services and coordinate the repair and/or return of materials, tools and equipment obtained on a value-added work order.
- Utilize and influence AMSL/Site Sourcing Guide. (Maintenance representative for procurement) and use class/codes to obtain contract pricing, where available.
- Work closely with procurement, coding, planning, scheduling and work coordination to provide seamless execution of the Maintenance Work Process (MWP).
- Track progress versus required delivery date until receipt and expedite when progress is behind schedule; follow-up as focal point on all issues with material, orders, delays.
- Periodically review material status report tools to assure on-time delivery, including refurbishment items.
- Arrange requisition of off-site resources depending on organizational design and role availability and support Foreman/Planner in returning unused materials back to warehouse and/or vendor.
- Use metrics to measure MC task (hot shot, delays, etc.) and develop action to improve the process.
- Comply with EH&S guidelines and overall safety processes.
- Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
Qualification :
- 5 year associate Technical Degree in a relevant field.
